The collection presented by the Spanish fashion label at Pitti Uomo was inspired by its most emblematic garments from the 70s.
Caramelo has chosen the men’s fashion show Pitti Uomo, which closes today in Florence, to present its new “Revival” collection. This new range consists of five outer garments for men that were originally designed by the Galician firm back in the 70s, when they were some of the fashion hits that helped to consolidate the brand as a reference in Spanish fashion.
While respecting the original elegance and simplicity of the garments, with their extra-refined lines and impeccable cuts, Caramelo has given them a modern touch by incorporating new fabrics and functional details, such as numerous inside pockets for carrying high-tech gadgets that were unimaginable 40 years ago.
In addition to "Revival", Caramelo has taken advantage of the show to present its men's fashion ranges for the Autumn/Winter 2012/13 season, which are characterised by multi-cultural influences and symbolism fromIslamic, African and Asian art.
