America’s first lady wears Alexia sandals for a splash of elegance with her more casual looks.
The USA is a key market for Spanish footwear brand Pedro García. Its prestige as a top-end designer shoe-maker is such that the President’s wife Michelle Obama has chosen one of the creations made by the brand from Alicante this summer.
Her choice is the flat Alexia sandal, which has an anatomical shape and is made from high-gloss calfskin, decorated with large Swarovski sew-on stones in crystal jet, rounded off with a grosgrain bow. Michelle Obama was seen wearing Alexia on July 16, when she took the Air Force One to spend the weekend with her family.
The first lady’s style has been praised by fashion experts the world over, and this is not the first time she has donned a Spanish brand to enhance her customary elegance.
After the success of its spring-summer collection, Pedro García is launching an elegant campaign for next season. Landmarks in the Spanish capital of Madrid are the chosen backdrops for the Pedro García autumn-winter 2010/2011 catalogue. Buildings of architectural marvel, emblematic streets, gardens and fountains, all teeming with character, give way to snapshots of the collection at the Italian Consulate.
This magnificent palace, with its spectacular rooms, is the perfect ally for the refined elegance that characterise the new Pedro García winter designs.
As well as its prestige in the USA, the Pedro García brand has gained a foothold in other international markets, including Asia, Australia, Germany, Italy, France, Belgium, Portugal and the UK.
