The new shop is in the exclusive street of Avenida Diagonal.
After opening its first shop in the Salamanca district of Madrid two years ago, the Barcelona bridal brand Raimon Bundó has set up shop in its native city at 415, Avenida Diagonal, a major shopping street which boasts many of the world’s most exclusive fashion brands.
With an area of 500 sq. m. and a warm and distinguished atmosphere, the new shop sells the ready-to-wear bridal collection that the brand presents at the Gaudí Novias Bridal Catwalk every year, and also has a couture studio.
The highly personal creations designed by Cristina Arana have made Raimon Bundó a key name in Spanish bridalwear. Her bridal gowns are unique, meticulously and artfully crafted with subtle – though almost always surprising – notes of colour. The 2010 collection Tocar el cielo [Touching heaven] recreates a Renaissance vision of the legend of Romeo and Juliet.
After 40 years in the bridal business, Raimon Bundó exports 30% of its production and operates in more than a hundred countries, including Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, Austria, Norway, Portugal, Mexico, United Arab Emirates and Japan.
