The Spanish brand opens a shop in Singapore following November's Hong Kong debut.
Custo Barcelona has set about conquering South East Asia, starting with two of the region’s most dynamic markets. Having opened in the Harbour City mall in Hong Kong last November, the Spanish brand is making a bid for Singapore, and more specifically in the Orchard Shopping Mall.
Custo Barcelona joins a select group of Spanish brands which operate in some of Singapore’s most exclusive shopping centres and premises, including Zara, Mango, Cortefiel, Camper, Bimba & Lola and Desigual.
Custo Barcelona’s growth plan includes opening shops in other countries in the region such as Malaysia, Taiwan and India, as well as further openings in China. The brand intends to implement a mixed system of own-brand shops and franchises in South East Asia, where a major part of the brand’s future growth will be focused.
Custo Barcelona triumphed at New York Fashion Week with his bold, sophisticated colours, fabrics and prints. The brand currently has more than 70 shops in Europe, US, Latin America and the Middle East, as well as Asia.
