From February 14 to 16, the event will be attended by 26 Spanish leather accessory and garment companies, representing 30 different brands.
The London womenswear and accessories exhibition, Pure London will be holding its 26th edition at the flagship venue London Olympia, where designers and renowned international brands will be presenting their collections for autumn-winter 2010/2011.
After thirteen years, Pure London is now the most highly consolidated fair in Europe and is still backing new brands. With more than 800 exhibitors, it is a beacon in the trade and Britain’s top fashion showcase, attended by prestigious buyers from major department stores like Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Harrods and El Corte Inglés, always on the lookout for new brands and young designers.
The exhibition is divided into six sections – Boutique, Spirit, Studio, Accessories and Footwear – and offers a magnificent combination of newcomers and weighty brands in the fashion trade. The Spanish showing is undoubtedly, after the UK, one of the strongest and most varied, with 30 womenswear, footwear, bag and accessory brands presenting collections for autumn-winter 2010/2011. They include Escorpion, Brunella, Isabel de Pedro, Jota + Ge, Desigual and Nice Days in womenswear, Drap, Cats and Puntotres in bags, and Art and Neosens in footwear.
The UK is a top market for fashion from Spain and its fourth biggest client. From January to November 2009, Spanish exports in the textiles, footwear and leather accessory totalled €414 million, with very positive scenarios in both garments (+8%) and leather accessories (+10%).
