The showcase will take place from 3 to 5 February in the emblematic Modapolitica building.
A total of 25 Spanish companies, representing 36 prestigious footwear brands, will participate in the new Shoe Collections from Spain exhibition in Japan. Art-Neosens, Armand Basi, Magrit, Pura López, Pons Quintana, Pretty Ballerinas by Mascaró, Amante, Sacha London, Tous les jours Si by Sinela, Vidoretta and Zampiere are included among these. The new brands that will be showing are Angel Alarcón, Caminen - Veletto, Ezzio – Dora Latina, Homers – Argila and Vienty.
In this showcase, companies will present previews of the collections for the autumn-winter season 10/11 as a preview to those which will be exhibited at international trade fairs such as MICAM, WSA and GDS.
Asis now custom, the exhibition space will be spread across the two floors of the Modapolitica situated in the Minami Aoyama district, one of the most important fashion retail areas in Tokyo, where all high-end brands can be found.
Shoes Collections from Spain is an exclusive exhibition, intended strictly for the best buyers and importers, as well as a selection of press. At last year's event more than 1,000 guests were welcomed, a rise of 45% on the previous year.
Japan is a priority market for the Spanish high-end footwear sector, both for its high purchase power as well as abundant consumerism. From January to November 2009, footwear exports to this market reached some 20.4 million euros.
