Jota + Ge presents its “smart fitting room”

A high-tech system offers a personalised style service based on the brand’s latest collection.

Juana Ruiz and Garbiñe Urdampilleta, founders and designers of Jota + Ge, are always looking for clothes to combine. They’d like nothing better than to be in every shop advising their customers on what to wear, and have developed a “smart fitting room” to try to overcome the problem.

When the customer enters the fitting room in Jota + Ge shops, the system detects the clothes and possible winning combinations. The aim is to offer a total look based on the brand’s latest collection.

The smart fitting room is a new stage in research and innovation, offering a practical and exclusive personalised style service. The revolutionary system is already available at the flagship store at 58 Claudio Coello, in Madrid, but the designers plan to install it in all their shops and corners.

Created in 1987, Jota Mas Ge sells colourful womenswear in an “industrial-baroque” style, to quote its founders. The brand now has five shops of its own in Madrid, Bilbao, Seville, Pamplona and Barakaldo, plus 600 POS in Spain, Ireland, Benelux, Italy, Portugal, Russia and Greece.
