11/13/2009

The children’s wear brand joins the green campaign with its latest line for newborns

Bóboli has centred its newborn collection on organic cotton. Its latest line for babies up to six months offers garments guaranteed to take maximum care of newborns' delicate skin.

Inspired by nature, the company reveals its commitment to the customer in an eco collection which is hard-wearing but soft. All the clothing is made from cotton grown without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilisers.

The green designs are comfortable and intended to maximise baby’s well-being and ease its first movements. Bóboli combines its fun prints with white and grey, suitable for both girls and boys.

The initiative enables the brand to plays its part in helping the environment, whilst offering quality natural clothes.

Bóboli started out as part of Star Textil, founded by Francisco Algás in 1981. In 1984, his wife, Teresa Ochoa, created a children’s brand focusing on knitwear. In 1990, the company began distributing to multibrand retailers and then expanded globally.

Bóboli now operates in more than 40 countries in Europe, Middle East, Far East, USA and South America, where it has more than 500 outlets. Star Textil exports 35% of turnover, its major markets being Portugal, Italy, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates.
