The winter season is bringing new openings of Spanish brands in Barcelona.
With the onset of winter several Spanish fashion companies have opened stores in Barcelona. The first to do this has been the streetwear brand Loreak Mendian, which opened its second boutique in the city right in the heart of the Gothic Quarter on 9 October. The special features of the space, that in the past was an electrical supply workshop, gives it a very authentic feel, a result of the mix of vintage detail and very modern furniture. With this opening the brand now has nine stores in Spain, to which can be added two stores in Australia and one in Paris, as well as numerous multi-brand sales outlets worldwide.

On the 16 October, Spanish models and designers such as Martina Klein, Purificación García and the Ailanto brothers all wanted to accompany Ángel Schlesser in the opening of his first store in Barcelona. The space, designed by the architecture office Farini & Bresnick, reflects a refined aesthetic, restrained and very simple, in keeping with the creative philosophy of Schlesser. With this latest store, the designer now has 11 stores in Spain.

Bringing to an end this cycle of openings, the Spanish cosmetics firm Natura Bissé has chosen the glamorous spa in the Majestic hotel, opened on 14 November, as an all-round beauty treatment centre. In this centre it will provide a wide range of luxury products and treatments, both facial and body as well as for relaxation. The Spanish company is present in over 25 spas in the most exclusive hotels and resorts worldwide.
