Rosario Lucky Charms

Prettyballerinas show their solidarity

11/20/2008

In December the Spanish footwear brand will launch Rosario Lucky Charms, a new line which will donate part of its profits to charity.

Rosario Lucky Charms is the name of the new collection by Prettyballerinas, a Spanish footwear brand belonging to the Mascaró group, which will be launched this December. And even though it’s not here yet, it seems that its models will be more irresistible than ever, not only because its designs are already highly original, but also because with the purchase of a pair of ballet shoes customers will be contributing to a charitable project in aid of Brazilian children.

A part of the profits generated by Rosario Lucky Charms, which takes its name from the attractive pendants that hang from the ballet shoes, will go to the Cauem Project association, which helps street children in the Bandeirantes zone of Brazil, one of the country’s poorest areas. A total of 150 children between the ages of seven and fourteen will benefit from guaranteed schooling thanks to this project.

The Rosario ballet shoes, which will be available in violet and orange, are decorated with five pendants in the form of a smile which are supposed to bring good luck to children who have lost their smile. For each pair of ballet shoes, which will be on sale as of this December in branches of Prettyballerinas and on their website, five euros will be donated to the project.
