Caramelo opens in Dubai

11/18/2008

The Spanish fashion brand has just opened its first establishment in Dubai.

Dubai has become a paradise for fashion brands, and more and more firms are deciding to open branches there. The latest brand to land in the Arab Emirate is the Spanish brand Caramelo, who will open a shop in the prestigious shopping centre Dubai Mall next November 27, where the most prestigious international firms have their boutiques.

Its entry into Dubai has happened thanks to an alliance with a local partner, with whom they are hoping to open a franchise of Antonio Pernas in the future, a brand which belongs to the Caramelo Group.

The brand is also working on breaking into the Mexican market. Caramelo will soon be opening new sections in the well-known, sizable stores of Palacio del Hierro in Mexico City, which they will add to the list of recent openings in the cities of Guadalajara and Satélite on 15 October. Caramelo will then boast six points of sale in the most exclusive centres of the Mexican capital, and three more in the provinces of Puebla, Monterrey, and Guadalajara.
