Roberto Verino store in Riga

Latvia welcomes Roberto Verino

11/17/2008

The firm’s first ever boutique in Riga has been designed in accordance with the new store concept developed by Verino in collaboration with the architect José Villacé.

On the 2nd October, Roberto Verino officially opened its first store in Latvia, at No. 39 Brivibas street in Riga, one of the most exclusive shopping areas in the Latvian capital. The store covers an area of 280 square metres and the interior has been designed by Verino himself in collaboration with the architect José Villacé.

For this boutique in Riga, Verino and Villacé came up with a new store concept based on modern, balanced and functional forms. Different colours are used to mark out different areas of the store in combination with the lighting, which seeks to create a warm and calm environment. The boutique features Roberto Verino’s collections of menswear and womenswear, as well as his range of accessories.

Roberto Verino set up his firm in 1983. Since then it has become a classic in the Spanish fashion industry, winning over two generations of shoppers with its functional urban collections. The company currently has a network of 157 stores and 200 concessions in 84 countries. It will shortly be opening new boutiques in Athens (Greece) and Dubai, as well as a concession in Mexico City, in the exclusive department store El Palacio de Hierro.
