The space will be located in Via San Pietro all’Orto, in the heart of Milan’s city centre.
Premises comprising 100 m² on the fifth floor of a period building in Via San Pietro all’Orto have housed the Milan showroom of the Spanish footwear firm Paco Gil since a few weeks ago. Its interior is the work of Federico Masato. In this showroom clients will find at their disposal the brand’s spring-summer 2009 collections of shoes and accessories.
Minimalist and chic, the decor of the space plays with the dual concept of black and white, combining functionality with avant-garde design. The products are presented in highly original tubes that hang on the walls as they were works of art.
The showroom is completed by a Pastoe table designed by Giampaolo Babetto, and a Classicon sofa by Eileen Gray, which repose on a white laminated floor. The lamps that light the interior come from Luceplan, and 86 Lamps (Droog Design).
The Spanish firm Paco Gil, founded by the designer of the same name, was created in Alicante in 1982. Today, its sophisticated designs for women are sold in the Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy, Scandinavia, and the United States, amongst many other markets.
