The Spanish brand’s new accessories shall make their debut in September.
After the amazing success it has experienced since its creation, the costume jewellery brand Uno de 50 is setting new goals for the future. Just months ago, it embarked on an ambitious plan to open its own stores in Spain’s top cities. Now, the focus has turned to its range of products, which as of next autumn will be enhanced with the arrival of its first handbag collection.
The new line, which will go on sale in September, is primarily centred on five materials and styles which Uno de 50 has made its own over the years: Cremalleras, Flecos, Moteros, Shopping Bag and Noche. Each of these will inspire various handbag models designed according to their own specific characteristics, but always with the brand’s personal stamp: young, fresh, urban and non-conformist. Fine materials have been selected for this new line’s first collection, such as top-quality leathers dyed in practical and functional colours for winter, including various shades of black and brown.
In addition, the brand will launch the second part of its intense advertising campaign at the end of 2008. The campaign, which began at the beginning of this year, will undoubtedly focus on publicising this new line that expands the Uno de 50 family, comprised up to now of rings, earrings, necklaces, belts and key rings, amongst other items. All the lines, with the handbags at the forefront, will be available in the almost 30 shops that the brand has opened in Spain’s top cities, as well as at points-of-sale in select multi-brand shops. Thanks to the company’s exports, which already account for 30% of total production, the brand’s designs are also sold in countries such as Italy, France and Australia.
