The jewellery designer gives a new twist to some of his most signature pieces in an excusive collection.
When a fashion brand has been experiencing great success with each of its designs for years, it deserves the luxury of revisiting some its classic pieces. And that is exactly what Spanish jewellery designer Joaquín Berao has done: brought back some of his most classic and timeless pieces in an excusive collection.
The organic, curvy designs, which are full of personality and draw their inspiration from nature and geometry, are the leitmotif of each of the pieces. The result is a delicate and elegant collection in which sea creatures and plant motifs take the limelight, together with polished silver and silk, the materials Berao has selected to recreate his signature jewellery. Furthermore, the pieces are versatile since a necklace, for example, can be worn in a variety of ways by playing around with different combinations.
Bracelets, pendants hung from silk cords, large-size rings and long earrings are only a few of the pieces that comprise the Clásica collection. This is a collection where Berao gives a new look to his basic pieces, but always maintaining that unique finish, which is achieved through a special polishing technique and is so representative of the brand. In addition, to celebrate this new collection, two pendants will be featured in limited editions. Only 50 pieces will be made of each: the Calamar model which was created in 1989 for the Lisbon collection, and the Sepia, designed in 1992 for the Medas collection. A collector's dream.
