London store

Prettyballerinas goes again in London

08/07/2008

Jaime Mascaró’s little sister opens a new store in the UK capital.

For any fashion label, having a shop in London, one of the hippest and most stylish cities in the world, is a dream come true. Prettyballerinas, the most innocent label created by Jaime Mascaró, has been living the dream for a few months now, having opened its first boutique in Brook Street, with such good results that this firm, which specialises in pretty ballet pumps as the name suggests, is now opening a new store -number four- in the city by the Thames.

The new store is located in Mayfair, one of the city’s trendiest areas, specifically in South Molton Street, close to London’s main shopping thoroughfare, the bustling Oxford Street. This location puts the store in a strategic position, on an access route to Bond Street, as well as one of the most expensive areas of London, where most of the embassies and luxury fashion department stores are located.

The store covers an area of just over 60 square metres with welcoming but sophisticated decor thanks to the contrast between the old shop frontage and the oak parquet flooring, which creates an atmosphere of warmth, and the black ceiling and industrial type lighting, which give the space an avant-garde touch. The store also has an upper floor which can be reached by a romantic staircase.

Now celebrating its 90th anniversary in the world of fashion, Jaime Mascaró has made a name for itself as one of the most important footwear firms in the world, like its two brands Úrsula Mascaró and Prettyballerinas, which have also achieved outstanding results thanks to their winning combination of quality, tradition and design.
