The exhibition will be held from October 30 to November 4 at the Omotesando Hills shopping mall as part of Tokyo Designers Week
The work of 30 leading Spanish footwear brands have joined together with renowned designers from different artistic disciplines to reveal the endless creative scope of footwear in a brilliant display celebrating the shoe as an object.
Designing the shoe presented designers with a real challenge and the results will leave nobody cold. For their part, the footwear companies have used all their experience and expertise to put their ideas into practice. The upshot is a total of 120 highly original creations.
The exhibition design is the work of Daniel Nebot, who won the Spanish National design Award in 1995, and has interpreted the project as a huge wedding feast.
