X, Y, Z... No, it’s not a new sizing system; it’s the circle of life.  As fashion brands are just beginning to connect with the values of generation Y, or “millennials,” the largest demographic since the baby boomers, the influence of their younger siblings, a.k.a. Generation Z, can already be felt.  As an aside, we’d like to take a moment here and thank Gen X for their contribution to the enduring grunge look, but you can’t argue with numbers and this group is now less significant on a quantitative basis.  
Millennials, however, are a group of digital natives that have pushed brands to redefine their marketing principles and redirect their discourse toward transparency and social responsibility. They still have a lot to say.  While the luxury goods sector celebrates the appearance of the first HENRYS (an acronym for ‘High Earners, Not Rich Yet’), the majority of them are still far from reaching their utmost purchasing power.  Where millennials do wield astonishing authority is on social media, as they establish trends through a flurry of Likes, Shares, Comments, Re-pins, Retweets and Favorites... These are some of the Spanish fashion brands that have experienced the surge of viral phenomena and offer originality and design through an open dialogue at a rate almost as frenetic as Snapchat.
